World Cup 2013, players goals !

In least than two days will begin the 2013 Men's World Cup in Belgium, in the city called Verviers.
Because Zhang Jike has an injury, Yan An replaces him with World Number 2, Xu Xin.
There are three German players, Timo Boll, Dimitrij Ovtcharov & Patrick Baum. Dimitrij get a wild-card from the ITTF.
The host-nation will have one player,
Jean-Michel Saive, who competes his 18th World Cup.
Few great players gave us their goals for this competition, they're all ready to play, and they're just excited about that !

Marcos Freitas:
It's difficult to talk about my goals for the World Cup because I still dont know my group, but I can say that my main goal is to pass the group and qualify for the quarter finals.

Last year I lost to Xu Xin and Samsonov in the group stage I hope I can do better this year. I feel good at the moment, of course I was and I still I'm disappointed with my performance in the Europeans Championships one week ago. But right now I feel strong and I just want to show it on the table.
About the training, I'm good, giving my best everyday.
My blade and rubbers will be Tibhar Marcos Freitas blade and Evolution rubbers in both sides.

William Henzell:
I come to Verviers with few expectations. I had the best results of my life just over a year ago but since then I am only able to train 2 days per week here in Australia.
I will not be favourite in any of the matches I play, so any win will be a great result.
The world cup I played in belgium (my first one in 2005 in Liege) was my favourite World Cup so i'm expecting great things from belgium !
I am always ready. Haven't played any competition matches since the Australian championship in July so not sure of my form.
Training is ok. But I only have 1 or 2 players to train with in Melbourne, David Powell and heming hu. Young australian players.
My racket will be Wililam Henzell Platinum blade (I designed it :D) and Tenergy 05.

Oh and by the way I saw your interview with Li Fen. I practiced a lot with Li in Swedish Club Lyckeby back in 2005 when she was in the Women's team and I was in the Men's team. I was very happy to see she won the European Championships.

Thiago Monteiro:
About the World Cup I have to take match by match, it's difficult to have a very precise goal at the moment because there are many good players. I practised hard as always and if I can advance in the first group it's already a good result for me.
I Use Cornilleau Hinotec Off as a blade and Target Ultim is my rubber. I am sponsored by Cornilleau.
