TTImpossible Magazine - 9

C'est après une pause d'un mois que nous nous retrouvons pour un nouveau numéro de TTImpossible Magazine, un numéro très complet avec pas moins de quatre Opens ce mois ci, et trois interviews avec des joueurs de très haut niveau !
Vous retrouverez une nouvelle fois le championnat Allemand, puis la Ligue des
Champions avant de terminer sur les anecdotes du mois fort en émotions.
Nous recherchons des volontaires bénévoles pour le Magazine, qu'elle que soit
la quantité de leurs contributions, nous serions ravis. De même que des interprètes,
Chinois ou encore Japonais. Remercions par ailleurs l'aide précieuse de Charles-e
Veillard qui nous a aidé à entrer en contact avec la Coréenne Seo Hyo Won.

Konstantinos Papageorgiou is a great Greece player who become the new European vice-european in the team Event, the first medal in this competition for Greece ! 
World number 172, he beat Tiago Apolonia, Petr Korbel and Evgueni Chtchetinine. One of the best tournament of his career, he answered us all he felt during this event !

World Cup 2013, players goals !

In least than two days will begin the 2013 Men's World Cup in Belgium, in the city called Verviers. 
Because Zhang Jike has an injury, Yan An replaces him with World Number 2, Xu Xin.

There are three German players, Timo Boll, Dimitrij Ovtcharov & Patrick Baum. Dimitrij get a wild-card from the ITTF.

Congratulation to Fen Li, from Sweden, she is the new Women's Single European Champion ! 
With the perfect result, victories against World Number 11, 27, 35, & 50. Currently  she is the number 72, but in November's ranking, she will be surely in the top 45. After the award ceremony, she answered us our questions and she told to TTImpossible all that she felt during this competition.

We have had the chance to talk with German Petrissa Solja after his victory in the Team Event in Schwechat, she is a very nice girl, who have won the US Open in U-21 in July, Wolrd number 57, whe sayd us his goals for the Single and Doubles Event. Read her and enjoy !

Interview with Tetyana Bilenko after 2013 World Cup !

Tetyana Bilenko is an Ukrainian player, and a defender. World number 65, she reached the 1/16 last in Paris-Bercy in May, with some victory against Seok Hajung and Fujii Hiroko and lost 4-2 against Feng Tianwei. 
In 2013 World Cup, she finished first of the first round of group  and played top players in the last round ! Let read this interview, and don't forget, Tatyana Bilenko supports TTImpossible !

1. For your first World Cup, and your first match, you have played Korean Yang Haeun,
but you have lost 4-1. How was this match for you?
So, the match against Korean player was my second match, for the first, I have won a Chinese nationalized to Congo  and just after my match,she won against the Korean ! When I was going to my second match,

Players goals for European Championships

Tomorrow will begin the 2013 European Championships in the Werner Shlager Academy, in Schwechat.

Few players give us their goals for this competition, and TTImpossible's team says they: "Good Luck" !

Jonathan Groth:

I'm ready for Europeans and look forward to play ! 

I will play groups in single so my first goal is to qualify me for main draw, in case I qualify I will just do my best. In team I hope we can win our first match against Slovakia.

This year, Michael Maze will not play again because he's recovering from a hip injury...

Patrick Franziska:

I'm ready, I practiced good and I'm looking forward to the Europeans.

In the Team Event, we are going for Gold, we have a very strong number 1 with Dima (Ovtcharov), Timo (Boll) has injury, that's not good for Germany, but I think that we are still a good team without him. 

In Doubles, Benedikt(Duda) and me have to start in the qualification, we want to have Fun and see how much is possible...

In Singles I want to Show my best table Tennis, that's all I want for the moment ! 

Daniel Habesohn:

1. Hey Daniel, so for the next European Championships, what are your goals in Single, Doubles and Team?

In Doubles is our goal definitly to get a medal. Team also, but the first Match is unfortunately against Germany. If we beat them, we would also get a medal, but it's difficult. 

In Singles I want to reach last 16.

2. Do you think that you can win because Timo Boll will not play for Germany?

The Chances are bigger, but they are still stronger than we are. I think we have our chances.

3. You will play ahead you spectators, it's suretly better for you, isn't he?

Yes, but there will be also a lot of German spectators, cause it's close. But sure we will have supporters :) ! Hope we will play better with them !

4. For this European, what blades and rubbers will you use?

Rubber JOOLA Rhyzm in both sides, and Blade Rossi Force.

Hugo Calderano was the revelation of the Brazil Open few days ago in São Paulo ! 
He won the Men's Single event and was bronze medal in U-21, he's the younger player at this level, World number 260, he will be suretly in the top 230 next month !

Seeded number 5, in the first round, they have played an hard match against Taipe Hung Tzu-Hsiang & Lee Shia-Sheng, a victory 3 games to 2 yesterday and a qualification for 1/4.

Les 8 jours des Championnats du Monde 2013 ont été une grande réussite, et de ce fait, je ne peux m’empêcher de féliciter et remercier les 400 bénévoles qui se sont activés pendant toute cette "fête du ping " pour nous
offrir la possibilité de suivre cette compétition de l'intérieur mais aussi bien de l'extérieur, puisque 86 millions de Chinois ont regardé leurs champions à la télévision !
Et c'est après la 5ème et dernière remise des récompenses que Christian Palierne président de la fédération Française, a donné le drapeau de l'ITTF au responsable de l'édition 2014 à Tokyo !
Et au petit lendemain, le Championnat de Pro A reprenait
! Alors, tous les joueurs ayant joué les jours précédant
purent tirer profits de leurs performances à Paris !

Mais parlons magazine, ce mois ci, peu de compétitions internationales ont eu lieu, l'Open de Corée et la Coupe d'Asie, c'est pour cette raison qu'un dossier "Ping à l’école" a été crée, il est important de faire connaitre ce sport à tous les niveaux, c'est pourquoi les écoles de la ville d'Anthony se sont retrouvés une journée pour y jouer.
Dans la partie "Anecdotes", c'est le mois des mutations en Allemagne, quelques problèmes ont perturbé la préparation des joueurs pour les championnats du Monde.
Enfin, l'interview du champion Olympique d'Athènes en 2004 Ryu Seung Min a répondu à quelques questions !

Kim Hyok Bong, of North Korea and 45 on World Ranking, lost 4-1 against the 166's Chiang Hung-Chieh.
The local Gauzy Simon (110) beaten the South Korea Seo Hyundeok 4-1 equally !

Results of few players at Qatar Open 2013

Marcos Freitas:
In qatar I beaten Gauzy 4-3 , Fan Zhengdong 4-0 and I lost in the 1/8 against Yan An.
I'm happy with my performance, it's not easy to go to the last 16 in such a tournament as Qatar Open, and I was happy to play against 2 chineses because it's impotant to play against the best Table Tennis players to learn from it.

Lily Zhang is an American player and competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London with fellow Olympians Ariel Hsing and Erica Wu. She won the Women's Doubles title at the Qatar Peace and Sport Cup 2011. She is currently a member of the United States National Women's team and number 96 of world ranking.

Here are the results of a few players who participated at Austrian Open 2013 in Wels!

Caroline Kumahara:
"Well...I'm really happy with my results, I could win 1 or 2 more matches, but it was against good players. I feel satisfied because I could play good, specially make in the match things that I've been practicing a long time ago and on my last tournament before Spain I could't play in this level. I hope I can continue in this way, I'll continue to practice a lot to improve and my next goal is play in this way again in the Czech Republic Junior Circuito and in Sweden."

The beginning of this third day of competition began with the 1/4 of U-21 and the 1/8 of Men and Women single.

Men's Single:
What a surprise! Marc Duran have released the seeded number one, He Zhiwen, he beat Zhiwen 4-2 and he's quelified for 1/4 like he victory of Andre Silva against Jon Persson. Cazuo Matsumoto and Assar Khalid beat's Abdel-Kader Salifou and Enzo Angles 4-2.

Tonight have begun the main draw in all categories, lots of seeded were beaten by players being much less well-placed in the world rankings by ITTF.

The qualification round for all player have finish today with a good performance from French man player, Alexandre Robinot was the player to catch the eye as matters in the qualification group's of the Men’s Singles event at the Spanish Open in Almeria came to a close on this morning. It was a fine performance in Almeria by Alexandre Robinot, the younger brother of Quentin Robinot, european junior champion.

Spécialisée dans le textile et les accessoires, PingStyle a tout de suite séduit un large public conquit par l'originalité du logo représentant la marque. Son créateur m'a même offert un de ses superbes Tee-shirts juste avant que je lui demande une interview sur sa création.
